Starbucks

Despite all the fun we make of the coffee shop that's everywhere in America, we always end up back there just like you. Sure, your cup of joe is anonymous and expensive, but there are some high points too. First of all, it's consistent and easy. Drive a block, there's another Starbucks that has the same menu as the Starbucks on the last block. Second, can you think of another place where the cashier gets increasingly excited by the more frills you add to your order? A place where, if your order is a double, half-caff, skinny, no foam, extra hot, double pump vanilla, single pump cinnamon dolce latte, the barista looks at you like all her birthdays just came at once? But don't turn around... the people behind you have just been enraged by your crazy order.
