The winner of the 10th season of "American Idol" faces an uphill battle to prove his legitimacy as a recording artist. Each of the show's previous two winners, Kris Allen and Lee DeWyze, released post-"Idol" flops, and even popular season seven victor David Cook has struggled to maintain his fan base, selling fewer than 90,000 copies to date of his second post-"Idol" album, "This Loud Morning." Then again, the 17-year-old McCreery is only the second country singer to win "Idol," after Carrie Underwood—and given her remarkable track record, maybe he has reason to be optimistic. "I Love You This Big," the debut single from this set, has climbed to No. 15 on the Billboard Country Songs chart.
