A mother and child reunion
In a moment of weakness, Andy Brewster (Seth Rogen) asks his widowed mom (Barbra Streisand) to join him on a work-related cross-country road trek in The Guilt Trip. The reason director Anne Fletcher chose this comedy as her follow-up to 2009's The Proposal? "It's a love letter to my mom, with all the things I couldn't say to her face," she tells USA TODAY's Susan Wloszczyna.
