Dick Clark, America's oldest teenager, dead at 82
Dick Clark, the television host who helped bring rock `n' roll into the mainstream on American Bandstand and who was an annual presence in his New Year's Rockin' Eve shows from Times Square in New York, has died of a heart attack. He was 82. Clark had continued performing even after he suffered a stroke in 2004 that affected his ability to speak and walk.
