Watch: Dee Snider sings 'Stanley Steemer'

Would Dee Snider have done a carpet-cleaning commercial in 1984?

OK, so he probably would have. Nonetheless, last weekend I was a little rattled by repeated viewings of Snider's new ad for Stanley Steemer:

It's hard to believe that nearly 30 years after belting out We're Not Gonna Take It, Dee is on hand to help "get the rock 'n' roll out of your carpet."

Incidentally, Snider has a new album out...
