Brisket, ribs, chicken and turkey! When summer hits there’s nothing better than saucy barbecue served with an ice cold beer.  We can assure you these Coachella Valley barbecue joints are sure to hit the spot.

Babe's Bar-B-Que Grill & Brewhouse

Babe's Bar-B-Que Grill & Brewhouse

71800 Hwy 111 - Rancho Mirage
760-346-8738

Babe's is the place to go for a good time and great BBQ. Their sauce is so delicious you'll be sure to purchase a bottle before you leave. Decked out in pig decor, Babe's has a unique atmosphere. Dine on the cozy patio next to the beautiful fire pit and take in the gorgeous mountain views. Be sure to sampler their sweet potato fries.

Pappy and Harriet's Pioneertown Palace

 Harry’s Oklahoma Style Smokehouse BBQ

Harry’s Oklahoma Style Smokehouse BBQ

47-150 Washington St., Suite B - La Quinta
760-564-4920

Harry's is one of the Coachella valley's very best bbq joints. This little slice of heaven is tucked away on Washington Street behind Louise’s Pantry. When you walk in and see the peanut-filled cowboy hats (and shells on the floor), checkered tablecloths and a big roll of paper towels on the table, get ready. Roll up your sleeves, tuck that napkin under your chin and prepare for some serious eating.

Tootie's Texas Barbecue

68703 Perez Road - Cathedral City
760-202-6963

Quite possibly the best BBQ in town. What else is there to say? This is the real thing. Co-owner Willard Sterling learned how to cook barbecue from his dad, Tootie. Brisket, ribs, chicken or turkey, it's all good. Don't miss the Texas tacos, a pair of shredded brisket or pulled pork tacos topped with Steve Vinson's Cole Slaw and a side of potato salad. Or sub in the Texas caviar made with black-eyed peas.

The Bone Yard BBQ

68100 Ramon Rd # C6 - Cathedral City
760- 324-3254

The Bone Yard BBQ is one of the valley's best deals for food and drinks. Foot-long hot dogs are only $1.95 and porterhouse or t-bone steak will set you back $3.95 Music is a nightly treat and during football season come join in Sunday's tailgate party. Beer is also available for $1 a glass with dinner.
